instinct with vdj pro 7

hi there 

need a little help,ive got the map in vdj pro 7,all working tip top.but the ear phone jack on the front of the controller doesnt seem to work?

i had a fault on a slider so i returned it and got a instant replacement with hope of that might of been 2 birds one stone ,but no still the same.

any help folks?

ill reinstall it but it think its the same one as ive already got installed and running.

Q, should the ear phone jacl at the front of the contoller work when plugged into a laptop via usb only??
or do i have to use the rf slots from the controller to lappy??

you need to go in config, select outputs: master front output/ headphones rear output
   soundcart speacers ( hercules djcontrol instinct)

i had the same problem
