hello i have been having troubles with dj 4 set and its drivers since the time i bought it, the min. system req. says its compatible to windows 7 x86 and x64 systems .

minimum configuration computer with: 1gb ram cd- or dvd-rom drive powered usb port 100mb hard drive space internet access (for software or driver updates) for windows xp/vista/7 (32- & 64-bit): 1.5ghz cpu (atom®, core duo®, athlon®)

my system meets this requirements but i am just not able to install the drivers and sometimes trying again and again i am able to install the drivers and the system would work and then moment the computer is restarted or the device is disconnected the drivers are gone. i also have a full licensed version of virtual dj 7 pro. it’s just that the device drivers won’t install and the device won’t work.

please help me i have invested lot of money in buying this product and the software and it just won’t work all i could figure out is the drivers are not compatible i have tried the latest drivers from the website plus tried this on three computers including x86 and x64 win 7 machines. i really need this to be resolved if you think that there is a hardware issue then what are the steps to get this fixed under warranty. honestly, i am not satisfied at all and i won’t recommend any one to buy any of your products, they are of low quality and you provide poor support.

ps: if anyone else here has had this kind of problem, then tell me how they got around this. i am a computer tech by myself so i know what i am talking about and i have tried all the quick fixes.i know it’s not the computer or the operating system it’s the device. thanks

Hi,

I suppose you don't log on Windows with an administrator account.
In Windows, you must install drivers with an administrator account, otherwhise Windows removes the drivers installed by a guest at the end of the guest session.

Since you are a computer technician, can you be a little more specific about what exactly happen when you try to install the drivers ?

Any error messages ?

If the various components do not install correctly, what problem description is given in Device Manager for each of them ?

Of the 3 computers you've tried, what the behavior exactly the same?

What are your system specs/model ?

Are you trying to install the console on a USB 3.0 ports ? If so, are the latest drivers present for this port ?

In case of hardware defect with the unit, it would need to be returned to the retailler to be replaced under warranty.
