ive used my dj control mp3 e2 controller on my pc laptop for the past year with no problems on both traktor 2.0.1 and vdj pro, yet when i made the switch to my new mac, i cannot get the controller to work using traktor, though it still works fine on vdj.

i have used various tsi mappings for it to work, no buttons work on the traktor interface, the controller is completely unresponsive, the only buttons with lights are the two sync buttons, yet even if i press them nothing happens. i have uninstalled traktor, the hercules software, and virtual dj in the hope that it would work, yet nothing has happened and no matter what i try nothing works.

also, when i try to import the tsi files in traktor, the default tsi files that i used before in the defaultsettings>controller>hercules get deleted for some reason every time i try and load traktor. although if i have these files in a different location, they arent deleted, yet still dont work. i dont think the issue is with the mac as the controller runs fine with vdj, it must be some sort of setting on the controller with traktor, any ideas?

ive followed every single youtube video on how to do it and cant find answers anywhere, ive used about 12 different tsi files to try it, mac ones as well as pc ones... help!! i dont want to be stuck on nooby vdj forever 🙁

The problem is due to an incompatibility between the MP3 e2 and the MacBook USB 3.0 ports which prevent the MIDI tranfer to work properly.

We are currently working on a fix which will be included in a futur driver update.
