hi,
i recently bought a second hand hercules dj control mp3 e2, the controller came without the cd with virtual dj control edition so i tried using it with virtual dj 7 and 8 but the software doesnt allow the controller to work after a certain period of time unless you buy the full version. i also tried using the mixxx software, but the controller doesnt seem to respond even though the software recognizes is and has dedicated mappings for it.
does anyone have any tips? i dont really want to spend more money on virtual dj pro as i dont really know if im going to enjoy djing, is there another software you recommend trying? do you know how to set it up on mixxx?

Indeed, if you want to use VDJ with a controller for more than 10 min, you'll need to buy a license, either a Pro or a Controller version:
