hello people

im using traktor pro + hercules rmx in cd-mode and while trying to cue-up something using the jog wheels, its going completely nuts on me. plus traktor stutters infinitely at the end of a track.
should i not use the cd-mode in traktor?

anything?

thanks.

check the way you configured the jog wheel in the midi mapping  configuration menu.

in control configuration, i usually set it up as follow:

interaction mode: direct
type of controller: jogg (7fh ; 01h)

then you can set the sensitivity and the acceleration to your taste.

well,

ive tried all sorts of sensitivityaccelaration values, but traktors response is badly out of sync with the jog. and it happens only in cd-mode. for example:
with sensitivity = 75% and accelaration = 11% vinyl (default) mode works perfectly. response is really good.
i change to "cd-mode", play a file, pause, jog forward ----- it goes forward and then jumps back! same goes if i jog backward --- it goes backword then jumps forward to some place.

whats the deal?

ah yes, i see what you mean. very disturbing!

ive tried with the vestax vci-100 and i,ve got exactly the same behaviour, so it is definitely a problem on traktors side.

maybe they are aware of it, butcould be a good idea to report it on their forum.
