i have an issue with my mk2. ive tried to install my mk2 on 3 different laptops with the same results. i cant seem to update the firmware-controller and i keep getting error updating controller part: 0x0000010b (fail during update process of psoc).
ive searched this forum for answers and i think ive tried everything there is on this issue. ive repeated step 6, of the manual, many times with the talk over button and the 1 2 3 button on the a deck but i keep getting this issue. does this mean my mk2 is defect or is it still possible to fix this issue.
i tried to install it on a dell e6420 with xp sp3, windows 7 x86 and windows 7 x64.
i tried to install it on a lenovo t520 with windows 8.1
i tried to install it on a acer (type unknown)
can somebody help me with this issue?

Was the MK2 working previously ?
If so, do you still have access to the older system you were using it on ?
Unfortunately I haven't got the system anymore but the MK2 was working perfectly. Since I bought a new laptop with windows 7 x64 I haven't been able to get it working again 🙁
So your new laptop is the Dell which also have Windows XP ?
Did you try the console under this OS also ? With the same results ?
Would you happen to have t powered USB hub you could put between the console and the computer ?
Its quite possible your console's firmware might be damaged, but let's not jump to that conclusion yet.

yes the Dell laptop is the new laptop and I have installed Windows XP on it, then installed the MK2 with the same results. Then I installed Windows 7 x86 with the same results and also with Windows 7 x64.
I haven't got a powered USB hub unfortunately so I can't test this :(.
Have you tried the new driver package (2014.HDJS.1) released last week to see if it makes a difference?
