hey guys! this is my first post here. i looked for a similar thread, but couldnt find anything useful, so heres my problem:
i bought me mk4 today, installed the tsi file to use it with traktor following the instructions given on the pdf file, but when i try to rewind a track with the left jogwheel, it only moves foward. so i can move foward,but no backwards (no matter how i spin the jogwheel, it does the same thing in both directions).
what do i do?

1) confirm if the jog wheel works OK in the version of VirtualDJ 6 DJC included with the DJ Console Mk4,
2) precise your configuration (version of Traktor, computer and operating system).
Ok, So I tried it on the Virtual Dj version that comes with the Console and it does the same thing!
I have a Samsung r480 (3gb ram) windows XP Service Pack 3 and Traktor version 1.2.7
Is it the console? Do I need to change it?
Please test the jog wheels outside of Traktor, using the following procedure:

If the wheels send send different values going foward and backward, then it should be the same for Traktor.
If however only one direction seems to work , then this would imply a hardware problem.
I can't. I have windows. And the other software it offers there it's also for MAC. What do I do? Is there a way to test it on windows?

Ok, so I downloaded the program, and it's definetly the hardware. It sends the same message both spinning both ways. I'll change it for another and let you know if I had any luck!
The wheels are sending the same message both ways, but with different values (1 and 127 in the other direction). Just be sure this is what you are taking about.
