i had my mk4 for about 4 mounths and about a week ago it had just stoped working. no light no nothing. i tryed everything, un-stalling and re-installed the drivers (the updated ones) . tryed different usb ports and different computers and laptops. nothing. computer dose not even know thats it is there. e-mailed them and i anit gonna get a reply till next year. though when i did connet it to the laptop, it said that its overpowered something like that. but i know the mk4 takes like 100ma i think. i dont know what to do. i also have aiso4all installed,
computer:
pc vista 32 bit
amd sempron(tm) processor le-1250 2.20 ghz
ram - 2.00 gb
vdj pro 7.0

if you get the message overpowered something, it may come from a damaged usb plug. can you check with another usb cable?

i have check the other usb cables and other usb ports. still dose not work.
the messge only comes up on my laptop not on my computer.

You should try the following process (in using an adminstrator account of Windows).
1- Push down the Mic On/Off button (close to the Scratch button) while the DJ Console Mk4 is not connected to the USB
2- Keep the Mic On/Off button pushed down, and connect the DJ Console Mk4 to the USB port on the computer
3- Keep the Mic On/Off button down for 20 seconds and release it.
Does the computer detect the connection of a device called Hercules DJ Console Mk4 Bulk?
