does the dj control mp3 e2 work with virtual dj 7.0.2 home or do i need a pro version?

the home version doesnt allow the use of external controlers (hercules or others).

only the le version (included with a controller) or the pro full will allow this:

ok makes sense. but i installed the le version which came with the controller and applyed my 20 day trail but that actualy made no difference. whys this?

by enabling the trial, it should give you access to all the configuration menu and options of the pro version for 20 days. once that time is over, you will be brought back to the le version.

no i only have access to sound set up. and it says my 20 day trail is already used. and if i hit the upgrade to pro button nothing happens.

the 20 day trial is only valid once, so if you already used it in the past, it will obviously not work.

as for upgrading, you may want to go directly to vdjs website (look at the section upgrade to vdj pro):
