hello! i have bought a hercules 4 mx from ebay. when i got it i decided to use it on my old laptop. i plugged in the usb cable that came with the 4 mx, installed the newest drivers, and tested the console with a free program called mixxx and eventually with virtual dj 8, and it worked perfectly with both programs. but, my laptops audio is staticky, and you cant hear anything. because of that i plugged it up to my desktop. however, when i connected the usb cable into the 4 mx, a message appeared in the bottom right corner saying "usb device not recognized. the last usb device you connected malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it." ive tried installing the newest drivers, but nothing works. please help!!
