need help with traktor pro 2.12 and hercules 4-mx

hello everyone. i am currently using hercules dj console 4-mx in combination with traktor pro 2.12 and a macbook pro with mac os x 10.6.7. i have already downloaded the tsi mapper and imported it twice in the traktor preferences. everything seems to work fine, except with one major flaw. my jogwheels cant scratch. in fact, when i do scratch with them, the sound actually stops. its as if the jogwheel is being used to just stop the sound. after i remove my hand, the sound continues to play.
so i am basically able to use all functions but the jog wheels. -_- lol.
