hello i am using the hurcules dj controller air and i am using vdj pro.
the speakers i am using are m audi bx8s and i am using an external sound card which is a focusrite saffire 6.
when i set up the hurcules in vdj i have it as follows:
inputs: none
outputs: master channel 1 and 2 and headphones 3 and 4
soundcard: asio (focusrite usb)
i have nothing plugged into the mix plug at the back of the controller and my headphones are plugged into the jack on the front!
please this is so annoying!
Look back at the audio configuration for a second.
As soundcard, you are indicating to VDJ that you want to use the Focusrite as audio device.
Consequently, VDJ will send the main mix (Master) to Channel 1&2, and the preview signal (heaphone) to channel 3&4, as this is what you've selected for Ouputs.
Now, knowing all this, there should be no reasons to connect your headphone to the DJ Air when you've clearly indicated to VDJ that you are using another audio interface...
Connect your headphone to the Focusrite (switch to 3/4 mode) and you'll be fine.
