not scratching! help!!

my hercules dj air just stopped scratching for some odd reason it still slows down the song and speeds it up with the wheels but it wont scratch i tried reeinstalling it and that didnt work either! help please!

- precise in which software (Djuced or VDJ) you face this issue,
- check if the scratch button (the first button above the crossfader, with a vinyl disc logo) is on or off.
