hello,

1) traktor scratch pro time-code compatibility is up to now limited to
- native instruments audio4dj and audio8dj,
- 7 traktor scratch certified mixers:  allen & heath xone:4d, denon dn-x1600, ecler evo5, korg zero4, korg zero8, mackie d.2 pro, mackie d.4 pro.
it is a software limit, as you can scratch in timecode with pioneer cdj-800mk2 + rmx in virtualdj pro, mixvibes dvs, djdecks.

2) if, when you play audio cds on cdj-800mk2 you find  cdj-800mk2 output level is too strong and saturates the rmx inputs, you can connect -6db rca attenuators on cdj-800 mk2 rca outputs: it cost usd 4.50 per rca on parts express, so it is affordable (with 1 attenuator per channel, you use 2 attenuators per cdj-800 mk2).

3) with the last generation of pioneer cdj players (cdj-350, cdj-850, cdj-900, cdj-2000), which include a usb connection to the computer, timecode cds are not longer needed to scratch: you connect the usb cable to the computer, you set the cdj in usb mode, and you scratch on your cdj jog wheel directly in traktor pro, virtualdj pro or serato.

Hello Maxdjack,

I have quite the same problem, I wanna use my Hercules dj console MK2 "ONLY" as a soundcard and connect it to 2 pair of Pioneer CDJ 800 MK2 and a Korg mixer using timecodes cd´s with Traktor scratch pro. The thing is that i don´t know how to configure the timecode options.

You mean that instead of using Traktor it will work with Virtual dj Pro, MixVibes DVS or DJDecks??

I´ll apreciate any help.

Thanks

As mentionned, only certified audio interfaces can be used with Traktor Scratch. The Mk2 is unfortunately not one of them.

For Virtual DJ Pro Full, the configuration are described in the following manuals:
