i purchased the hercules dj control air which i love however when i connected it via usb i can hear sound through headphones only and not through laptop speakers i tried connecting it from the mix out jack port at the back of the mixer to the mic input for my laptop (dell inspiron 1546) and adjust this to be line in, but this hasnt worked i wanted to use this for small dj gigs and i normally play music from lap top to amp via a jack to red/ white aux from headphone socket on laptop can anyone suggest a work around for my predicament please im desperate for help thanks in advance
When connected, the USB audio interface of the DJ AIR becomes the the computer's main audio output. As for DJUCED, it will always use the AIR for output unless you make changes in the Audio configuration menu.
So the simple solution is to connect your speakers/amp directly to the back of the DJ AIR instead of to your computer. Every sounds played on your computer will come out of it.
When the AIR is not connected, simply connect your speakers back to the computer.

I have just purchased and received my DJ Contol Air, and I am using the DJUCIED software that came with it.
I have MAJOR problems in hearing the sound.
I have plugged the USB into the laptop, and I have plugged the speakers into the back of the console (DJ Control Air). The , problem is that it sounds all fuzzy and REALLY slow. I have made sure that the pitch is correct, but regardless if the pitch is on low or max, this makes no difference.
If I plug the speakers into the captop and configure the audio settings within DJUCED to my laptop speakers, and everything is fine (just can't use the console to its full extent).
Any help would be mostly appreciated as at the moment I have hit a brick wall.
