hi there, first of all thanks a lot for taking the time to help me.
here it is:
i have my win xp running virtual dj 7.0 pro, and the hercules mk4 connected. my problem is that im not able to prelisten to the tracks on my headphones as i could on my previous laptop.
basically, channel 1&2 goes to the speakers connected to the console, and 3&4 to my headphones and there is no way to listen to the other channel or to mix them at all.
my settings are
inputs none.
outputs external mixer --> deck 1 chan 1&2. deck 2 chan 3&4.
sound card hercules mk4.
im pretty sure it is something silly but just cant figure it out. maybe something to do with the asio driver?

If you are not using an external mixer than the option for Output needs to be Headphones in Virtual DJ under Sound Setup. The rest is fine:
Input: None
Output: Headphones
Sound Card: DJ Console Mk4
