i need some help setting up console rmx on my pc. i can hear the sound, but headphones dont work.

my pc configuration: intel dual core 3ghz, windows 7, 2gb ram, creative audigy with 5.1 setup

dj software:  virtual dj pro 7.0.5

dj console drivers: the latest (updated from the tray icon)

my connections:

- dj console rmx connected directly to pc via usb cable

- sound is playing on creative sound card from pc

- headphones with 1/4" jack plugged into one of dj consoles headphone jacks

software configurations:

inputs: none

outputs: single output

sound card: asio driver

as is said sound works, everything works well between the console and virtual dj, but i cant hear anything in my headphones.

monitor is set to middle.

headphones volume also set to middle .

thanks.

Hi,

You Must use the RMX Soundcard, in ASIO Mode, and Outputs : double outputs in Virtual DJ.

If you don't use the RMX soundcard, it's normal that you don't have preview in the headphones...

You will have to plug your speakers on the back of the RMX Too...

Hello,

I knew that, thanks. I wanted to know if there was any way of hearing the sound through my PC sound card, in the speaker system, as well in my headphones.

Thanks,

You should go in Settings, audio, click on "Outputs" then advanced config.
.Then in the advenced panel, add :

- Master  => Choose your Computer's soundcard => 1/2
- Headphones => RMX2 Soundcard => 3/4

This is NOT a recommanded configuration, (risk of delay beetween Headphones and Computer soundcard...), but it can work.
