hi all! im new in this forum & i have bought the new dj control mp3 e2 but i have a problem with virtual dj 6. when i open the software, the dj control mp3 e2 doesnt works (it works only with virtual dj djc edition, software included in the packing).
have i to configure key by key in the configuration menu or is there any way to make it works without this "heavy job"???

be sure that your are using the latest update of virtual dj (v6.02) , which fully supports the mp3 e2.

i got a problem with my new dj control mp3 e2 an virtual dj6.
when i try to use the e2 i got the message "problem with "hercules djconsole mp3 e2 mapping.xml" "
when i open the xml-file (to be found in "userdocumentsvirtualdjmappers") the file is empty, not like all the other files.
i reinstalled it, but it did not fix my problem.
could anybody upload the file for me or send it to me by mail?
if someone would declare to do it, i would send you my e-mail adress by pm.
i hope someone can help me, so i really can start djying =)

please detail which version of virtualdj 6 you use: is it virtualdj 6.0.2 pro or another version?
its the demo version, at the moment, because i wanted to try the connection between the e2 and virtual dj 6 before ill buy it. it seems to be version 6.0 and when i click on update, there is a message "no newer version available"

virtualdj 6.0 pro doesnt support of dj control mp3 e2, the first build of virtualdj pro integrating dj control mp3 e2 support is virtualdj 6.0.1 pro.
sorry for reopening this thread but my problem isnt fixed at all. i got win7 now but again i cant use my e2 without problems. i started mapping myself but im not completely happy with it. so here again my question:
could anyone upload the mapping file for the "hercules dj control mp3 e2" for me or send it to me per mail?
the file can be found in "c:users\%username%documentsvirtualdjmappers" and should be named like
"hercules djconsole mp3 e2 mapping.xml"
i would be very happy if someone could upload it or send it me per mail. if you want my e-mail adress, just ask in this thread and ill post it that my knight in shining armour can send me the file, so i can start my djing career entire. 😉
