hi guys, big welcome to all. well after 15 yrs of dancin in sweaty clubs and lookin like a loon i finally took the plunge to do it myself at home and because of my love of dance music i bought the hercules rmx, talk about being a rabbit caught in the headlights of a car. so far im absolutely lovin it but have encountered a few probs that im hopin you may be able put right.
i have recently downloaded the dj pro software and wat a revelation it is, im using the skin mix lab v31 and seem to be havin issues with my headphone volume being that it runs from the gain knobs at times, gain knobs also jump in volume when tweeked, the monitor knob now goes anti clockwise for volume, sometime the headphones dont work at all, loading a track is a pain and having to shutdown virtual dj and restart cures the problem. also does anyone know how to assign buttons on the console to functions on laptop screen or is it a case of mouse and hand co-ordination. i do have both virtual dj and virtual dj pro are they causing conflict.
my set up is my rmx, laptop, hooked up to a fatman itube valve amp with tannoy mercury f1 customs, good to hear from anyone with these issues.
take it easy all...bigbean
well, first of all have you got and installed the lastest drivers from the hercules tech site.
or are you using the ones of the cd.
hey jimmy nice meetin u, to be honest i got the software from somewhere i prob shouldnt have and seeing as you guys all look pretty legit i wont disclose from where, really i just want ive got to work. the difference between dj home and dj pro is great and can see my skills comin on strong pretty soon.
are the drivers from virtual dj or hercules, its may just need a system update perhaps...
