got a few probs with my rmx first 1 is it pos to change the senativity on the volume sliders? as its not working well with my style of mixing i like to chop it n the end result is very very poor with this device for the money i payed id expect it to be a lot better than it is ! 2nd the gain controls when moved jump up n down stupidly with only the slightest movement again not impressed! any way these issues can be sorted with the mapper? if not its going back to the shop i got it from as im very disapointed n i will go get the novation twitch for an extra £50 not a happy man to say the least with this product

Hello,

1) Which DJ software do you use?
Your requests are based on the software mapping (volume sliders setting, and gain setting = map questions), not related to the hardware, so the first question is "What is your software"?

2) Please post messages with returns, punctuations, a capital letter when you start a sentence: hardly readable messages are not read.

The software is virtual dj 5.2.2 which came with the rmx in the box.

Reason i posted in the hardware section is because it relates to the hardware im using wich as stated is the RMX controller.

Yes mapping is software related issue but im unsure if its down to the software or hardware n seems pointless posting in both the hardware and software section for the answer to my question.

It could be the hardware at fault OR the software but then if i new that i wouldnt be on here in the first place asking the question :/

any help apreciated would rather be able to rectify the issue than have to replace the product .

Hello,

VirtualDJ 5.2.2 DJC, coming with the Rmx in the box, offers no mapping features, you need VirtualDJ Pro full version to change the mapping in VirtualDJ, as the volume faders or the gain map.

Have you VirtualDJ Pro or another full DJ software?

No not at the moment.
I'm considering upgrading but dont want to waste any more money if the issues are still going to be the same :/.

In pro is it posable to adjust the sensativity to the volume n gains threw mapping?

If so then this is the route i shall follow.

 thanks for the reply

Hello,

VirtualDJ 7 Pro has a much better gain control than VDJ 5.
For remapping the travel of the volume fader, I have not seen this option in VirtualDJ 7 Pro or Traktor Pro 2. I have seen this feature in Serato Itch.
I don't know if this mapping feature is in Traktor Pro 2.5 or VirtualDJ 8 Pro.
