hi! im new to this and ive got a question. is it true that if youve got dj console with sound card, then i can plug-in my digital piano? (yamaha ydp-140) by midi input? i dont know how to describe it. i want to use this piano as synthesiser on programs such as: reason, fruity loops, cubase.
im a total beginner and i dont know how to start. all i have is this piano, but i want to buy this: http://www.hercules.com/us/dj-music/bdd/p/125/dj-console-mk4/ but only if i can plug-in this piano to use it as synthesiser.
please help me.
in order to connect you keyboard to you computer, you will need an interface that has midi din-5 in/out connectors, such as this one :

the dj console mk4, is , as your keyboard, a midi controller that connects directly to the computer via usb, but does not have the appropriate connectors (din 5) to connect your keyboard to it.
