hi guys , i have this in my mind and want to understand exactly for what is use the button "beat lock" for. can someone explain i will appreciate any help smile

Page 32 of the VDJ user manual:

Once engaged, the Beatlock feature will keep the deck locked to the beat on the other deck, no matter if you are scratching or changing the pitch on the other deck. Disengage “on load” or “on switch” will automatically disengage the beatlock feature when the deck is loaded/switched.

help me more ...is this beat lock only for scratch stuff ...not for mixing mode ?!

Hello,

In VirtualDJ, the Rmx Beat lock button is used to control the Master Tempo, so it is not related to Scratch:
- when the Beat Lock button is not lit, you change the tempo and the tone of the music when you move the pitch fader,
- when the Beat Lock button is lit, you activate the master tempo which means that when you move the pitch fader, you change the tempo without changing the music tone.
