hello i wanted to get some professional grade cables to use. in fact, i also want a replacement for those that came in te starter pack but can not seem to see any on line.
what do people recommend?
also, if i connect or have made up spliltter cables, am i using sound quality, should i just buy 4 regular high quality rca phono leads?
i also want to retain the option to play regular cds and switch between the two.
Hello,
When you write you want to replace the RCA cables of DeeJay TRIM but cannot see any online, do you mean you look for
- the same cables as the cable in DeeJay TRIM 4&6 + Scratch starter kit,
- or RCA Y cables with a similar function?
If you look for exactly the same cable, I think you should contact Hercules technical support.
If you look for a similar function, you may use:
1) either long RCA to dual RCA y cables, as what is used in subwoofer:
For example Hoelbach Y cables, red or blue or black
Then you need 2 cables per stereo input on Deejay TRIm, so for 2 stereo input, you need Y RCA 4 cables.
2) or short y adapter (RCA male to dual RCA female) + long RCA to RCA male cables
the short Y RCA cable are common and unexpensive, as here and you can exetend with the RCA cables of the length you wish
3) or RCA splitter box as here, which you extend with the RCA cable you want,
4) Or small RCA splitter plugs, as this one here
thanks for the info
