is there a way using the console edition of virtual dj to record you live mix ( ie like the vestax 300 and serato?) w/o using additional hardware?
just be sure download the latest version of virtual dj (5.2.2) which adds the recording options.
all youll have to do onced installed will be to click the rec button at the top right corner of the vdj interface to start recording your mix.

hi leleaka,
the rec function is not present in the version of vdj dj console edition which has been delivered with your rmx.
you just have to register on virtualdj website (using your vdj djc serial number):
http://www.virtualdj.com/users/register.html
and download the latest version of vdj dj console edition 5.2.2 and you will have the function rec available as described:
http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
this process is completly free as you just need your serial number to download the latest version of virtual djc edition 5.2.2

hi leleaka,
when you click on the button "more" on the top right corner it opens a dialog box where the version is written.
in the top right corner of this dialog box you should see "5.2.2 djconsole" which is the version of the software you have.
if it is different from 5.2.2, it means that you have not the latest version.
Just be sure download the latest version of Virtual DJ (5.2.2) which adds the Recording options.
