ive been enjoying spinning tracks with my hercules djcontrol compact, but theres a feature im looking to tweak. i want to remap some controls to adjust the level of an effect on a track, perhaps similar to whats often referred to as a "filter".
ive tried my hand at tweaking the .djm files, but my expertise doesnt quite extend that far yet. ive seen discussions here where someone was looking to remap the mid knob to a filter and received help via a wetransfer link to an alternate .djm file. unfortunately, that link has since expired.
so, i was wondering if anyone here could help guide me through this? is there perhaps an existing .djm file that caters to this sort of control remapping, or could someone assist in explaining how to do this?
