when i play the mp3 player on deck a (through source 1) and then hit the cue select on deck b to cue up the next song, i get a very loud distorted noise. also if i leave the mp3 hooked up to the controller and turn off source 1, the cue selects are mixed up(meaning deck a cue select works with deck b) also what is the vdj6 config set up. and what is the config setup for the hercules control panel?
the audio configuration in vdj should be as follow in vdj 6:
- input : none (quite paradoxal , i know...)
- output(s): headphone > master chan1/2 / headphone chan3/4
-soundcard: dj console rmx > check the box apply eq on input
you probably had timecode as indput, which would explain the noise.
as for the rmx control panel, the only thing you need to make sure of it set with the default configuration the advanced tab (hardware mix - usb streaming 1-2 (default))
when i get home, i will try these setting and let you know....

You probably had Timecode as indput, which would explain the noise.
