apply eq on external inputs is checked

i am trying to play an mp3/ipod player through as a source, but there is no sound, just a loud buzzing noise.

when i use the same config with virtual dj 6.02 pro i have no issues.

what am i doing wrong....please help

 figured out the issue:

Input must be set to Line-ins

and the Source button under the mapper tab must have the followong: get hastimecode ? timecode_bypass : get haslinein ? linein : nothing

Hope this helps someone else out!!

So that changes the Source 1+2  button to chage to Line in, but it still doesnt work for me when I plug my ipod in...(no audio)

I know there is a setting wrong somewhere......

inputs: Line-ins
outputs: Headphones
sound card: ASIO4ALL v2 (ultra latency is checked)

I can VERY fainlty hear the ipod maybe at 2db coming across the speakers....weird....

I have ASIO4ALL v2.10
DJ console RMX - just bought LDW
Windowns 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
 Sony Vaio VPCEB17FX Intel Core i3 2.13GHz - 4GB Ram (soon to be 8GB)

Any reasons why you are using ASIO4all instead of the dedicated Rmx ASIO driver ?

Have you tried the configuration mentionned above ?

Inputs: Line-ins
Outputs: Headphones
Sound card: DJCONSOLE RMX  > check Apply EQ on external inputs (which switches the Rmx in ASIO)

I didn't know they were different - let me uninstall it all and start from scratch....

Ok so I reinstalled everything....

Line in  works now because I removed the ASIO4ALL -
Hercules DJ Console RMX ASIO shows up in the drop down box for Asio Driver under Sound Card, but clicking on ASIO Config does nothing...

The line in works now, should I be seeing the bpm information scroll across at the top?

Hello,

You must set the Rmx audio mode in ASIO in the control panel first.
