my rmx has been working fine. every knob, every let, all of the outputs and inputs. yesterday i plugged it in and nothing, it doesnt light up, it doest register that its plugged in. i tried restarting my computer, using a different usb cable, plugging into all my usb jacks, plugging it into another pc. nothing. is there a way to reset the hardware? and why does hercules refuse to send me a new one? i am about to go on tour and now im screwed.

1) does the mic on/off button switch on/off or not?
the mic on/off button is not related to the usb detection, so if it doesnt work, it means the rmx receives no power from teh pc (whether it is the pc, the cable or the rmx which fails).
2) hercules refuse to send you a replacement one because defective returns are handled by the distribution channel: you return your defective unit to retailer who sold it, who will return it to distributor who will exchange it to the retailer who will return you a new or a repaired or the same dj console rmx (depending of the result of the tests on the dj console you returned).
