running mac g4 on 10.4.11 os. tried to install the latest drivers
from the hercules site. the installation starts, but hangs on "finishing installation" part.
have to power of the mac after that because of the installer doesnt respond to any commands.
also tried to original cd installation, which just states that there is "nothing to install".
vdj software installs correctly but doenst of course work without the drivers.
anyone have ideas whats wrong ?
Can you identify the driver package that was installed before you tried to apply the new update ?
If it was the version from the original CD, then the version shoud be written on it.
As the problem, it may be due to some files being corrupted on your system. Once we know what was present before, it will give us a better idea what can be doe to correc this.
Suspected as much, however cleaning drivers in Mac OS is something very new to me 🙂
