has anybody attempted any modding of the rmx, either costmetically or functionally?
im interested in making my rmx a little more personal. i havent managed to find anyone doing overlays let, despite this surely being an easy thing to make (damn it, stickers would do at this point!). changing the platters to something more.... vci-esque would be nice. not that im hating on the rmx, but i think the platters look rather tacky personally. maybe its the plasticness of them. obviously theres knobs that can be changed.
if im wrong, someone please show me the hero that is making overlays.

ive also been searching for modified rmx units, i like the look of the uv rotarty knobs which are available for the vci. i also agree with you about the platters, i would prefer something more turntable looking. the rmx has serviced me well so far, but id like to start personalising it now. i think hercules could take this unit to the next level creatively if they realise there is a market for mods. im going to buy some standard rotarty knobs and uv paint, hopefully they will fit no problem. i think we could start something big here.
