hi guys, hope someone can help me out..
ive been using my hercules rmx on a macbook pro with virtual dj for about 8 months, and i use a powered usb hub. yesterday i tried getting it to work with traktor pro instead but it had trouble recognizing it, and all the lights on the console just kept flashing like crazy. today when i turn on my computer with the console properly connected, and deciding that id just keep using virtual dj, there were no lights on, like when i usually turn on the computer. my laptop will simply not recognize the rmx. no blinking lights, no nothing.
when i first ran virtual dj it said "error in the soundcard" and in the sound setup/sound card hercules rmx did not appear in the list as it usually did. in traktor, hercules appears as "0in/0out".
ive tried every possible solution.. audio midi setup, reinstalling the drivers provided on the hercules site, following the firmware update procedure that hercules suggests, changing all the usb cables, etc. in audio midi setup, the hercules console is just a transparent icon which cant be selected or modified; it can only be deleted. when i tried the firmware manual update solution while pressing the mic button and plugging and unplugging, it wouldnt recognize it either. ive also tried hooking it up to my other computer, an imac, but to no avail. ive looked through every possible forum and blog and i cant find the answer. the only possible answer is that the console just stopped working and died 🙁
what should i do? i am desperate. i was supposed to play tonight and had to cancel.
please help me out !!!

still suffering and kind of desperate with this nonsense. wrote hercules like 5 times, and kept on getting the same answer... ¨"follow these instructions bla bla" regarding the mic button-holding firmware update. which does not work... and now they haven´t answered back in a month.
does anyone have any other idea?
my computer does recognize the usb is being used, giving me the "overpowered hub" message.

i have exchanged an email with hercules tech support, they told me they are in touch with you.
maybe the usb cable is dead?
i wish :/ I've already tried switching different usb cables.. and same problem
you have a warranty on it call them up and asks them chances are theyll send u a new one
having a similar problem...
the board is recognized and sound will play out of it but only the mic button works nothing else lights up or works. emailed support 2 days ago still no response...
