hi guys,
i have the rmx and i have traktor. i only use the two combined with my pc. (2 soundcards creative audigy and standard hidef card).
when i try to set in traktor as audiodevice the rmx asio is keeps saying not connected. i tried everything but cannot get it to work. anyone have an idea?
i added screens from traktor en dj console.

1/Can you tell us a little bit more about your PC configuration ? (OS, Real or Cracked OS, Win Vista, Seven, 32 or 64bit ?).
2/Have you switched the ASIO in the control panel BEFORE starting Traktor ?
3/ Have tried to open the RMX in ASIO in another DJ Software ?

I am running Windows 7 ultimate legal version.
I have set the rmx to asio before starting traktor.
I have not tried it in other software.
When i set the audio device to soundblaster i can use the rmx but the headphone jacks dont work.
If you set the soundcard to Soundblaster, that's normal taht the RMX soundcard doesn't work 😉
Lets test your RMX soundcard.
1/ Download this little piece of Software (the .exe is in the .zip archive) : AsioDEMO
2/ Open It (Without any DJ Software opened)
3/ Select the "RMX Asio" in the list
4/ If it's opening, Plug headphones on the RMX, then select 3/4 in "output".
5/ Click "Start Audio" to listen to the Sine Wave (don't wear your Headphones, the sound can be loud).
+> If you've passed the tests, please reinstall traktor.
Dont hear anything while doing test. On other channels also no sound. I tried both headphone sockets.
And if you select "Output 1-2" instead, can you hear something in your speakers (that obviously need to be connected to the Rmx)?

I have nothing to connect via tulp as speakers. When i put my headphone in the backslots no sound as well. I know the headphone works.
And how about when you use the Rmx WDM with iTunes or another media player ?
Be sure the Rmx is set as your default playback in Windows before your try.
Also, is the console installed correctly ?

When i follow the PDF al is the same. But when i select the Hercules as Default Speaker i cannot play anything. Windows Media Player and Itunes dont play a song.

I updated everything but still no good.
Do you have another computer to test the console ?
I have no other computer nearby. I have tested Virtual DJ. Then i do have sound via headphone.
Just to be clear:
1) In VDJ, when using the following audio configuration:
- Input : None
- Output(s): Headphone > Master Chan1/2 / headphone Chan3/4
-Soundcard: DJ Console Rmx
You manage to get sound out of the Rmx headphone output (and main output 1-2 as well I would assume)?
2) if you try the same configuration, but check the box APPLY EQ ON INPUT, you will notice that the Audio Mode in the DJ Console Control Panel switched to ASIO.
At this point, do the audio outputs of the Rmx still work ?
As a side question, does your computer have USB 3.0 ports (the inside of the connector is udually blue) ?
If so, is the Rmx connected to one of these ports ?
I don't have usb3 ports.
I hear music when i set it like you asked. But when i check the box apply eq on input it gives an error.
"Error in the ASIO sound driver: Your soundcard is probably not connected, or the settings are incorrect."
That is a step in the right direction.
With all dj applications closed, launch Windows RUN dialog and type the following line:
regsvr32 HDJASIOu.dll
then click OK.
A message should normally appear indicating the operation was successful. If this is the case, try running Traktor or VDJ in ASIO again to see if the situation changed.
After registering the dll i get still the same message in VDJ and traktor
