it is essentially the same good quality soundcard without a controller and different possibilities.

hello lofosho,

the deejay trim 4&6 has 6 features which are not built in dj console rmx audio:

1 - adjustable analog pre-amplifiers on trim audio inputs, so that the trim audio quality is better on the inputs than the rmx; it supports more powerful audio sources, and grants a finer adjustment on the input volume

2 - view meters on the audio inputs or output; you have 4 lines of view meters on the trim, to monitor either in 4-channel audio input, or the 4-channel audio outputs.

3 - 6-channel out mode: the trim is called 4&6 as it has a 2-channel in/ 6-channel output in addition to its 4-in/4-out mode. the 6-channel output mode is useful when you export a mix on an analog mixer, it lets you play 1 deck on each stereo output and play effects/samples on a separate track.

4 - headphones switch to monitor the output 1-2 or the output 3-4 (default).

5 - power supply: deejay trim has an independant power adapter.

6 - 3-port high-speed usb hub.
