i have been using the mk4 with traktor scratch pro 2.0.1 on macbook. i have just purchases the rmx, will the tsi file hercules provides for the tractor 2 work with my version also i understand same tsi will run with my mk4 ? any advice

The TSI available were created with the latest Traktor version (2.1.2), so they may not be compatible with previous Traktor versions. Updating would be recommanded (or maybe wait until May when the new 2.5 version is released).
As the Mk4 and Rmx have a different configuration, they consequently require different TSI. As well, if you are planning to use both controlers at once, you will need to modify the configurations since you will have duplicates: all TSI are built with the idea that the console is your only device.

Didnt mean running both at same time, what I meant was if I want to use different controller at differenet time ie as a back up. it looks like I will have to import tsi for each one I use at time, as doesnt seem to want to import both tsi's so i can switch beween in audio set up ?
Also have founf things dont work with my version of traktor, so will have to get a custom map done for it !
It is possible to have both mapping loaded in parallele. The document provided with the TSI presume that the user only has one console, but to use multiple controller, refer to this article:
