hi,
im using a dj console rmx with traktor pro on a macbook and an imac.
i want to set sample rate of my dj console on 48000hz but it seems to be limited to 44100hz.
i try to change this setting in "audio and midi configuration" but the list contain only 44100hz.
has anybody an idea ?
regards
indeed, the rmx is limited to 44.1 khz on os x.
do you mean that you can configure it to 48khz on windows ?
another way to solve my problem is to resample my bose companion 5 to 44.1khz since it seems to be limited to 48khz.
what i really want is to create an aggregated device with my bose companion 5 and my rmx but i cant make it works since the sample rate are differents.
under windows, the rmx (when in asio mode) can operate in eithher 44 or 48 khz.
if you want to use your speakers with the rmx, i would simply recommend connecting output 1/2 to the auxilary input of the speakers.
yes i can connect my bose companion to the output of my rmx but since my bose companion are connected through usb on my imac, i want to create an aggregated device to have :
- monitor output on the headphone connected to my rmx
- main output on the bose companion
when i do this, i have no sound on my bose system and i think it comes from the different sample rate of both system (44,1khz for rmx and 48khz for bose companion).
an aggregated device will not work for devices with different sample rate. sometimes, even the same sample rate does not garantee that the newly created device will work properly.
the hardware method, however, will give you constant results...
ok, thanks for your help.
i will so connect my bose companion directly to my rmx.
