smooth transition into manual loop

hi all, hope youre doing well.

im using manual loops as a way to mix in and out of tracks with drifting tempos (funk and soul). so im setting the loops up and allocating hotcues for them.

so say i set a loop towards the end of a track. when i hit that point of the song, is there a way to activate the loop when im in it? 

so far the only choice i have is to hit the cue button perfectly in time. which, especially as a beginner, isnt easy.
