just picked up a hercules universal dj and having difficulty with the audio setup with djuced40. right now i have the controller plugged into my macbook via usb and my speakers plugged in to my computer via aux. i tested the setup on virtual dj and it worked perfectly. however i cant seem to get the right settings on djuced40. thanks for the help 🙂
i have the mackie cr3 speakers and a macbook pro.
As indicated in the user manual, DJUCED is preconfigured to use the Universal DJ intergrated audio interface, and expects your speakers to be connected to the controller (MIX Out).
Once this is done, you can can still use your computer's soundcard with your speakers (I would suggest using the AUX input on the front of the speakers) or even better, use the Universal DJ soundcard as the default audio device for all your applications (which you can modify from System Preferences > Sound).
