hi. im having a problem with static noise on my control air.
i have looked up other resolved issues and took some measures trying to fix the problem myself. however, i still have static.
i found two possible solutions, however, neither make a difference.
i have added a wire coiled around the bottom screw at the usb cable.
i have put tape over the ground part of my power plug on my laptop.
i connected the added wire to a grounded mixer. but here is the thing. when the mixer channel is fully turned down i have static. however if i put the mixer channel up to 0db my static noise seems to have dissapeared.
here at home. my speakers do make a lot of static noise (noticable when music is idle). i have tried both my home computer and my laptop. however, i cant try my laptop with the battery since the battery is broken.
i will try a laptop on battery by loaning one from a friend. however. its not really a solution for me. since laptop batteries only last so long..
my headphones however dont make any static. its purely from the speakers.
