if u buy studio speakers would i then need to buy an amplifier with active studio speakers?

Hello,
If you buy active studio speakers, you don't need to add an amplifier as active means there is already an amplifier built in the speakers.
If you buy passive studio speakers, you need to add an amplifier as passive means there is no amplifier in the speakers.
