hi there. i only bought my 4mx this christmas. my left jog wheel squeaks like hell. i dont mind so much when im djing at a party an volume is at full wack. but i mostly bedroom dj and volume is at a comfortable listening volume and i find if i spin my left jog wheel it just ruins the listening experience cos it squeaks so much!! im sorry to complain but would you guys advise i lubricate under the jog wheel. any other advice any one could provide as to how i could solve the problem would be much appreciated.

I wonder if the squeaks come from:
- the resistance setting: you can change it in turning a screw accessible via a hole close to the lock/unlock key: you need a precision screwdriver, with a flat blade below 3mm (for example 2.5mm = 1/10 inch) and a 4cm or longer shaft (1.6 inches or more), as here or here or here.
- the ball bearing: the jog wheels turn on a ball bearing, so can you check if the temperature has an impact on the noise, for example in storing the jog wheel in a warm room before mixing (the rotation should be easier, and then you should have less squeaks if the ball bearing causes the squeaks)
- or another reason.
