hey all, just updated the newest version of traktor onto my new macbook pro. i installed everything for my hercules dj rmx, drivers and all (it works fine in virtualdj) and proceeded to try and map it into traktor 2.1.2. i was able to find ".tsi" mappings, but none of them worked, even though i was able to select them in the device tab of the controller mapping in preferences, both input and output tabs read "n/a" instead of what all of the .pdfs i had read said should read "hercules".
so, i am wondering if the hercules mapping has not been modified for this version of traktor, in the event of which would it be faster to try and install (somehow) an older version of traktor, compatible with the mappings, or, am i just missing something small, yet crucial for the mappings to activate?
thank you,
rudy.
Have you tried the mapping available on the support site ?

i have tried that exact .tsi, in fact, i recall using it with tRAKTOR AND hERCULES when I got traktor and hercules in the summer of 2011, and it worked fine with my older Lenovo Ideapad Y450. However, I have been talking/emailing with Hercules support and this is the recent message they gave me pertaining to my issues with Traktor Pro 2.1.2 mapping with Hercules DJ Console RMX:
"Dear Mr. Rudy Fischer,
We can confirm that a recent Traktor 2 PRO update, deployed by Native Instruments, has caused several compatibility issues with the Rmx Console ".tsi" MIDI Profile.
Our development team is currently working on updating the ".tsi" MIDI Profile for use with the latest version(s) of Traktor PRO / DUO and will make the file available on our Technical Support webpage as soon as possible:
Feel free to also contact Native Instruments for a possible solution:

So you are now using another computer ?
Have you verified that all components are correctly installed?

If everything seems in order, can you verify that MIDI is working with another application (as Virtual DJ LE doesn't use MIDI to communicate with the console):
