is there a mapper for controlling traktro pro with mk2? if so pls do let me know asap! thank u so much
traktor pro already includes a profile enabling the use of the dj console mk2 as a midi controller. to load the profile:
- from the preference menu, click the import button.
- open midi mapping > hercules dj console mk2, then select the profile tp_hercules_djconsolemk2_v1.0.tsi
- a window will then be displayed asking which category to import. simply click ok
- your dj console can now be used with traktor pro
a pdf document explaining the different functionalities can be found in the following location:
windows
my documents > native instruments > traktor > settings > midi mapping > hercules dj console mk2,
mac:
usr > documents > native instruments > traktor > settings > midi mapping > hercules dj console mk2
i got it work...thanks a lot dj phatso! 🙂 and ive kind of re-assigned the midi mapping a bit. since i use an external mixer, ive assigned the eq knobs on both sides as fx parametre knobs..and it works excellent! much better than holding down the fx button and turning the jogs to change the parameter..
effects buttons not work. how to fix?
as explained in the document installed with traktor ( see path from previous post), your fx needs to be in "chained" mode.
to make sure this is the case:
- from the traktor preference, go to effects menu
- for fx panel mode, be sure chained is selected for both decks
next, on the main traktor interface, select the 3 fx your want to use for each decks. also click the fx 1 and/or 2 button to allow the fx module to work with the appropriate decks.
now, on the console itself, press the triangle button ( next to 1-2-3 buttons) until the fx led is on, which put the 1-2-3 button in fx mode.
pressing each button will activate a specific fx. while holding the button , you can also use the job wheel to modify the fx parameter.
thanks man! works great now.
