have the wireless card off & antivirus off & the computer is new & only used for music. problem is there is a small audio drop out when loading a track & also while scrolling through the track collectin. everytime a new song is highlighted while scrolling there a is a small audio drop out/ glitch.

it s an hp 4gb 320gb hard drive on windows 7. i have the hercules rmx & i believe i have the newest version of traktor pro.

2) what is your number version of traktor pro (is it traktor pro 1.2.7)?
3) what is driver version of dj console rmx (is it the driver from the package 2010_hdjs_3)?
4) what is your version of windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)?
5) what is your cpu? is it a core 2 duo, or an i3,i5... and which speed?
6) is dj console rmx audio mode set in asio mode?
7) haveyou have disabled the windows setting which authorize the system to cut the usb bus power?
8) have you followed the optimisation guide ?
i insist because your not giving clear information as
- the traktor version - the revision is displayed in the welcome panel when you start traktor,
- the complete reference of the computer (hp has more than 1 computer),
- the cpu type and speed,
- the version of windows 7
lets me think you are not familiar with optimizing a computer for music, and following the optimization guide is the first step optimizing for real time dj software as traktor or virtualdj.
