uploading mixes to soundcloud / mixcloud

hi

i am currently struggling to upload my mixes on to either of the above.  i have done a 48 minute trance set which i would like to share online.  when i use soundcloud it took 3 hours and only loaded 34% (i ended up giving up) and mixcloud keeps coming up with a message that there has been a problem.  i have changed the format to .mp3 so that it can be used on mixcloud.  could this have created a problem ????? i have checked my internet connecting and that seems to be working fine, i can download tunes etc as normal with out any problems.

any help would be mostly appreciated.
