hi all, just wondering what peoples experience has been of using, rmx, dj trim, plugged into usb3 ports rather than usb2?
more machines now have usb3 and all of apples new laptops have usb3 ports that are supposed to be usb2 compatible.
unfortunately some soundcards/ audio-interfaces seem to have issues with usb3, most of native instruments soundcards fail to work on new macbooks with usb3...! several threads on their forums covering the issues.
im planning to buy a new macbook soon and just wanted to check that hercules products are ok using macbook usb3 ports 
On my acer, i have no problems with my usb3 port, it handles my rmx, 4-mx and other midi-controllers just fine. You can even use more than one device per port since usb3 ports can deliver 1000mA instead of 500mA for usb2.
