vdj a beat out?

hi does anyone know why my hercules console mk2s output is 1 beat behind the virtual dj pro v6?
im using a laptop more than big enough to cope with the software & the original lead?

You may want to start with the recomandations of this guide:

Then try modifying the ASIO buffer size in the control panel.

With VDJ closed,  raise or lower the value, one step at a time, then try VDJ for a while.  Repeat until you find the correct setting for your computer.

Thanks DJ Phatso, I tried that & it worked! I took it down to 1536 & it was just about real time. But then the play back would skip, like fluff on vinyl. So to stop that I went back through the process & raised the value until it stopped at 2592. Then I was back to the delay - arrrgh! I play small local venue 3 times a month with this set-up & it can catch me out. Would I benefit upgrading to the RMX? Or is it likely I could suffer the same?
