virtual dj 7 + rmx music stops while mixing

the other day i was mixing and i had deck one playing, i loaded another song on deck two and pushed the play button to listen to the track in my headphones....the music stopped for deck one and deck two would not move either.

i restarted the application and a few songs were able to play, but after about 5 songs the same thing happens.

has anyone experienced this, any suggestions...this will kill me if this happens during a gig?
