virtual dj and djcontrolinstinct

i replaced my old hercules hardware with a hercules djcontrolinstinct. i had a look at the encluded software djuced but i would also like to use virtual dj v6. is this combination possible? do i need to use v7? or is it no use to upgrade my virtual dj because it is not compatible?

You could use the DJ Instinct with version 6, but you would need to create your own controller configuration.
