hi all, just a quick quesiton really , as the title states really. for example youve got a track on your hard drive called bambee - online (eurostyle track) can you have it in differnt flight boxes in the software i.e dance / eurodance & the like or would i need to upgraded to the pro version?

I don't understand what you call flight boxes, but if the question is "can I file the same audiotrack in several virtual folders?", the answer is yes.
You need VirtualDJ 5.1 DJC or later (the last VirtualDJ 5 DJC version you can download on VirtualDJ website is VirtualDJ 5.2.2 DJC).
And then you can create virtual folders (click on the blue plus icon over a red folder in the central bar between the folder and the files browser to create a folder), and you can add the audio files in these virtual folders, and you can add the same audio track in several virtual folders.
What I meant Virtual folders The same song in differnt types of music instead of having say like 40 or 50 copies of the same track on the hard drive but I call them flight boxes as not used to having all my tracks stored on a extrenal hard drive yet 🙂 as I i've was using vinyl & cd's before getting the console & now can have the same track under differnt styles of music
