hi i have bought a new rmx2. i wait because of the new vdj8 software. now i see that there is only a virtual dj le (light) in the box. its a shame tjat i dont have the new software. its normal that u get aa free up[grade when you bought a new device or the prica have to be very low. for example, if u bought a new navigation software u think u get the latetst maps, or there have to be a big discount so u know that the price is low. on the website of the store (bax-shop) there u can read virtual dj le and not the numeber. please help me, i want vdj8.

The software in DJConsole Rmx2 is VirtualDJ 7.4 LE since VirtualDJ 8 LE has not been released yet.
When VirtualDJ 8 LE is released, you will be able to download VirtualDJ 8 LE Rmx2.
VirtualDJ 8 Pro has been released a short time ago, it is still a very young software, VirtualDJ 8.0.0, with new built every week, so Atomix production must first establish a built VDJ 8 Pro which last longer, so for the moment VirtualDJ 7 is more stable.
Once VDJ 8 Pro is as stable as expected, Atomix Pro can release a VDJ 8 LE built, for use on DJConsole Rmx2.
You can create a user account on http://www.virtualdj.com , type your VDJ 7 LE serial number in your account information here, and then, when VirtualDJ 8 LE is released for Rmx2, you will be able to download the 8 LE version.
So there is in the future there is a VDJ8 LE. So i have to wait or.... the reseller says if you buy NOW a new RMX2 there is VDJ8 LE included. Maybe he means a free upodate.

Yes, the VirtualDJ 7 LE licence of Rmx2 grants a free update to VDJ 8 LE once it is released, while most other VDJ 7 LE licenses give no update to VDJ 8 LE.

The Filter is not curently mapped by default for the Rmx2, but this could also change with future version.
I too bought a RMX2 today, and I was disappointed to see that is ships with VDJ 7 LE in the box (didn't they claimed that it comes with VDJ8 back in 2012?). On top of that, when I installed VDJ 7 LE that is on my Disc, upon each launch, it keep asking for a serial number of a device, but when I type in my RMX2 serial number, it says it is incorrect. I have tried it couple of times with no luck.
1) Can this be fixed?
2) How can I get VDJ 8?

1) There are 2 serial numbers on a DJConsole Rmx2. Make sure you type the VDJ serial number to activate VirtualDJ 7 LE.
Here is the image of the sticker, the VDJ serial number format is XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX/RMX2.
2) VirtualDJ 8 LE has been released a few days ago, so it is not on the installation CD of any DJConsole Rmx2 on the market today.
But you can get VirtualDJ 8 LE for your DJConsole Rmx2.
Go on http://www.virtualDJ.com
Create a VirtualDJ account
In Licenses page, type your VDJ 7 LE serial number and type Enter.
VirtualDJ website will then immediately generate your VirtualDJ 8 LE serial number, it is not the same serial number as VDJ 7 LE.
You can then download VirtualDJ 8 software from VirtualDJ download page, and when you are asked to login with VirtualDJ ID, type your VirtualDJ account name and password, and you get your VirtualDJ 8 LE.

What is your user name on VirtualDJ.com website, I don't see a Droopster on the user network.
